  1. What kind of servers do you offer? (NT or UNIX)
    We use only Unix servers, no NT or Windows servers at all.
  2. Does FastURL offer dial-up access to the Internet?
    No. We suggest using your Internet Service Provider that you used to get here as we do not offer such services.
  3. What do I need to be able to use FastURL's services?
    All you need is access to the Internet and the desire to build your own web site (or we can have it built for you).
  4. Does FastURL offer web site design services?
    No but you can Email Us for a few recommendations of some excellent web designers.
  5. Does FastURL offer any database solutions?
    We offer Mysql with a PHPmyadmin web based control panel.
  6. Does FastURL allow cronjobs?
    Yes. You can set up cronjobs using your control panel.
  7. Does FastURL support third level domains (somename.myname.com)?
    Yes. This is also known as a sub domain, you can have unlimited sub domains.
  8. Does FastURL accept International orders?
    Yes. The best way to approach this is to use a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit card.
  9. How long will it take to set my account up?
    If ordering by credit card most orders are usually setup within a few hours from the time the order is received. All server information will be sent to the email address provided in the order unless noted otherwise.

    All of our hosting plans include ecommerce features.

    Yes we support MS FrontPage extensions.
  13. Does FastURL offer Telnet services?
    We offer SSH which is a secure form of Telnet upon request. If you need this service please tell us this in the comments section of the server order form at the time of ordering and we will set you up with a SSH account.
  14. How do I know how much data transfer I need?
    Generally most small to medium size business web sites will not need anymore than 2 GBs of data transfer a month. If you ever do go over your limit our technical support team will contact you via email with the option to upgrade or purchase more bandwidth at $0.50 per GB.
  15. Does FastURL allow "warez" web sites?
    No. This is also stated in our terms of service policy.
